Object Data Memory
Free Range Gallery, Perth, WA
15 - 26 May 2015
Object Data Memory culminated as part of my Master of Arts by Research investigating how new media has altered traditional notions of the family archive.
This immersive installations fuse the boundaries between analogue and digital technologies to illuminate our material engagement and multi-sensory experience with family archives and to question the influence this has on the performance of memory. The main installation in this exhibition is comprised of over 3000 35mm slides recreated from my family archives and assembled into sculptural forms.
