The Memory Post is a3D photo media collage series combining Australian postage stamps and my late father's slide collection. I collected these stamps with my Dad as a child - we steamed them off from envelopes we bought in bundles at the local swap meet. Embedded in these stamps is a personal narrative, but they are also cultural objects from the past that evoke collective identity, heritage and history. Postage stamps have largely become extinct from the domestic space. In many ways communication has morphed into a constant stream of visual and digital information mediated by screens.
